As a fraternal organization that is not driven by profit, AFBS provides
Members’ insurance programs, retirement and savings plans, and Fraternal
Benefits. We are Canada's only national insurance and investment provider
launched by Canadian performers and screenwriters. Members are primarily Full
Members of ACTRA and members of the Writers Guild of Canada and we have been
supporting their health and wealth since 1975. AFBS also offers insurance to
self-employed Canadian artists outside of our Founding Guilds through our
Writers’ Coalition Program and the Arts & Entertainment Plan®.
